the dad gaze
continues
I’ve been (over)thinking about artist statements recently as I try to craft one for myself. It seems cruel to make me write things when all I want is to take pictures—worse, making me think about my pictures.
I don’t love the term “documenting” but I’m circling how to enlongen the concept of “A subjective documenting of what it is to be alive and happy and scared and sad and human and dad and husband and complete and lacking and loved in this time.”
It feels obvious and not a little trite so keep it in your prayers. Enjoy some late spring moments.

i like this work a lot.
Love it all Geoff.
