common themes, common forms
I’m learning to do more with less. Time, money, energy, etc. I can’t develop like I want—scanning, even worse. I’d like sometimes to shoot other things at some volume or maybe even think of other work I’d like to make. But here I am, in the car again. Or there I am, taking a quick and perilous step back from a toddler we named ‘Wilder’ in ways more prophetic than we imagined. All the while I’m ungratefully making the most important images of my life. But making these little photographic poems are helpful to write a memory more dense and rich (and true, if not always factual) than the ones logged by my often sleep deprived brain.















Such thoughtful words and all of the pictures are amazing, but something about the McDonald’s sign tickles my brain
